Source : Playful Learning Tell me more My kids recently went to a fall festival where they learned about sheep's wool and made doll "hair" out of it (also called roving) to place on corn husk dolls. These adorable felted wool acorns are similar in concept, except that they require a needled to roll the wool into a tightly woven ball. With some acorn caps and glue, kids can participate in making their own cute felted acorns.

Note this is a craft recommended for the older 7+ year old child with adult supervision required.
